When I moved to Alabama as a teenager, I did some embroidery on Sunday and my aunt told me that one doesn't do that on the Lord's day. I think it's okay to do it as long as it doesn't keep one from attending church. I would not do it if it offended any one, but Sunday, being a "Day of Rest" is what that is all about.

I quilt every day, it's my therapy . It's not work, it's my time to be creative.

    Beautifully put!

Sunday afternoons are my favorite quilting time. I don't see it as work, for me it's relaxation so I don't think I'm breaking any rules.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. We go to church and I definately don't do house work on Sundays but I think of quilting as my hobby/relaxtion. I work on my own projects on Sundays not things I intend to get paid for. You have to remember in those days nobody did anything on Sundays. Even when my mom was younger you still couldn't buy hardware on Sundays. Do what you're comfortable with :)
