If I get a chance I do, it isn't work to me, it is my
relaxing time. So, I don't feel guilty. But I know
many people in my area, frown on doing any sewing on
    Sunday.

Yes best time to pray for who you are making the quilt for.

I often do, in the afternoon or if the weather keeps us inside ... I work M-F, so if I don't quilt on weekends, I won't get anything done

Sounds like my Irish grandmother. I don't think there is any harm in quilting on Sunday. Like many women, it's sometimes the only day we have to ourselves; especially if you work. Enjoy!

Smiles...my thoughts exactly...esp. about the time in the kitchen!

I look on my quilting I guess DH s Granny told me it was against God to quilt on Sunday. She always cooked up enough food on sat as she really believed not doing anything on Gods day. Yes, after 63 yrs I still quilt on Sunday.
