Do you quilt on Sunday?

I do not normally quilt on Sunday. I believe that Sunday is a day reserved for family and church.
That said if I worked full time outside of the house, I might sew some. But I would try to find time during the rest of the week.

My grandmother used to tell me that HER mother caught her, hubby and friends playing cards on a Sunday and gave them all "heck". I didn't know my great grandmother but I DO know that my grandmother would sew on a Sunday.
Now my FIL used to preach to us that Sunday was the day of rest and you should not do anything on Sunday but relax, read the Sunday paper and vist family. Hmmmmmmmm...but I sure know 2 people that went out for dinner after church almost every Sunday. lol They didn't seem to have a problem with the restaurant being open and people working to cook and serve food to them. So...I called him a hypocrite.

We have the same mother-in-law, stitchesbyLA.
My mother-in law told me the same thing over 21 years ago.

If that is so, then isn't this a question for your theological authority? Because, really, what I do as a Buddhist may not be appropriate at all for someone of an Abrahamic faith.
