I never really gave it a thought as to put a name to it. It is just something that I love to do. It is just a part of me. Call it whatever you want, I am a Quilter

I have to agree 100%. I do it to relax.
i agree. the difference in the titles for me is one does it as a profession and the other doesn't.

it doesn't mean these people do not share the same love for the craft - one just devotes more time to the craft because its how they earn their living.

it's a hobby to me, I quilt for pleasure and relaxation. It's not something I just HAVE to do.

I quilt for me, for my sanity, so not sure what I would call it, lol! It's not a job, or I wouldn't enjoy it. It brings me peace, & has a calming effect, like nothing else does. I think everyone needs to find something that effects them this way. Not sure it's a hobby, I feel it's more than that to me, but sure glad I finally started doing it, & only wish I had alot younger, lol...

Yes I did until this year! This year I have donated a lot of my quilting to charity. But I want to get back to doing it for fun! It is actually therapy for me. It soothes my soul!!!

I consider quilting a hobby, passion, or art. I think of quilting as all of these!
