I too reuse them if there isn't much color on them, didn't think of using them with Windex.

I have to laugh. DH said that if you turn new jeans inside out the color won't run but back onto the jeans themselves. Well when he got this last pair, I threw in a color catcher with his turned jeans. The surprise look on his face just proved the color does run out of the leg like he said it "wouldn't". I reuse color catchers if they come out white. I also throw in white rags to help absorb excess.

just yesterday my husband put a used, but still white one and a brand new one in with a blue towel that we should just throw out before it ruins anything. The new one had a lot of color on it, the used one has some, but not nearly as much. I conclude that the used one is much less effective, but not completely ineffective. I would not depend on the used one with a problem fabric.

Yes have reused with no problems but I do agree with Maminstl above that they might slightly lose some of their effectiveness the 2nd time around.
