I have discovered that guilt, just like grudges are too heavy to carry around, so just drop them right away and as Vann said on REBA --- I've got one word for ya, let-it-go. Doesn't sound like one word unless you say it fast like Vann --- letigo! By the way it smiled up my day to see your kitties in the sink. I used to have some who napped in the sink, too.

I also just ordered from CT.....love when batting is on sale.and then free shipping to boot......

only thing wrong, I ordered 1/2 yard too little on two of the fabrics...so I had to reorder a few days later......

and of course I didn't stop at just those two pieces of fabric.....

    they do love me !!!!!!

Of course it's OK to reward yourself, in fact, it's a moral imperative. I think women too often put themselves last, and that's wrong. I gave up a lot for my kids, I've given up a lot for my husband (long story), but at this stage in my life, I feel I have earned the right for rewards, without justification or explanation. Quilting is my main outlet for creativity and sanity, so it's not a need or want, it's something I do for me to keep my sanity - my husband is on disability and I have been unable to find work, so sewing keeps me sane (although there are others that might say I never was sane - oh well).
