Nope! In the garbage basket they go! Can't get them there quick enough! I'm not a fan of selvage items.

Not only do I save them, but I have the ladies that come out to my studio to quilt save them!! :)

In the beginning, no. Then a fellow QB asked for some and I am now saving them for her. :D

I use them to tie things -- napkin sets, my rotary cutters(both to hang up and to tell which are mine at class), scissors (again, to hang or identify), rolls of stabilizer, batting, our luggage handles,... I generally cut right along the edge of the selvages so there is generally 1/2" or less. I save the long ones for tying, but the rest get pitched.
