Do you think we will ever break the record for the number of people online here at one time. :? The record occurred before I was even a member. :-o

Deb, I've thought about that myself. It occurred before I was a member also. I thought wow, I can't imagine that many people on at one time. I hope one day we can break that record!

You'll see the info in the bottom paragraph of "Who's Online" on the front page cynde. I think it said the most members online at one time was 92? Anyway, HTH :)

That was someone with disabled cookies, so the system thought it's a different person every time they viewed a different post on the board. They just kept browsing the site, and the board kept increasing the count for that time frame.

I think for now, the real maximum number people ever reading the board at the same time is around 45. That happened a couple of months ago, when I put links to different quilt pictures on the board inside a newsletter announcement.

That's pretty good for this type of board. I remember last year during the NHL playoffs, my hockey board was swamped with 397 people online at once... about half of them in the chat room. Boy, was that an adventure and a half. :roll:
