I have used a few, using my own fabrics, not theirs. I have saved a lot more and hope to use some in the future.

Once in a great while I'll grab one, but usually there's not too many free quilt patterns I find too appealing or I'll go "Oh cmon! Its just a (insert traditional pattern) with a different color scheme!".

Yes, I look at them, choose the ones I really like and save them to my computer and occasionally print one off to use. Have I actually made any? Maybe one or two. I would love someday to buy the fabric and make one on the spot! I'm always so far behind on my projects. By the time I do it the fabric is no longer available and the ink has faded on the pattern! :roll:

I print what I think I might REALLY make one day, or put them in my favorites on my computer....but have never bought the fabric. I like to do my own thing with fabrics....

I have used the patterns occasionally. As I live in Australia and fabric prices are 4 times the cost of yours in US I "winged" it.

I have a clipboard from the "Free Patterns". Sometimes I get ideas from one and put to another: Have never used the fabric. I like to put MY colors to the pattern.
