    Default Do you use sashers?

Do any of you use Pauline's Quilter's World sashers to make your bindings? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm2YSIgPkwk Yes they are a little pricey, but I admit, I am a gadget person and this looks pretty slick for easily making and pressing long strips of binding or, by using the smaller version, for making the very narrow spaghetti ties or stem pieces used for applique. I received a set of the expensive bias tape makers that were sold a few years ago that look like flattened cake decorating tips, but they don't work as well as advertised, and the sashers look pretty easy to use.

Looks like a handy tool for making bindings. I’m not sure if you have to purchase the whole set…I think I would only need the 2 1/2” tool. Thank you for sharing.

I have the set, they are amazing, easy to use and no burnt fingers.

I've seen them advertised before, but I don't think I would really use one. I could be wrong though......

I have a set of sashers and the book. I have watched the video many times and I cannot get a sasher to work. I know it's me. I give up in frustration. Not just Pauline's brand, other brands of the sasher tool I can't get to work right either

I don't think I would use them either. I just fold my binding in half and press. I do use the clover tips for applique though.

Where do you buy them? They look really nice.
I looked all over but I don't see any for sale.

Check Missouri Star, I saw them there and for the price I will keep using my fingers, I like the concept though!

Interesting - I don't press my bindings before sewing them on, so wonder if this would help to keep them folded properly as I'm sewing them on.
