Do You Use a Side Winder Bobbin Machine?

I bought one because the lady told me it would work with my machine. When I got home, guess what? This did not work with my machine so now I have a bobbin winder that doesn't work at all for me. I have decided to look around and see who has a machine it will work with and give it to them. I've just decided pre-wound bobbins work well for me and if I want the bobbin thread to match the upper thread I just wind my bobbins on my machine. I sure wish the bobbin winder had worked for me because I do a lot of sewing and quilting too.

Get one. They are really neat. I can wind off big cone with stand & send thread right up to it. They really wind nice. I didn't realize there was an issue about what machines it would work with. I have 2 Kenmores & 3 Babylocks & they all wind great.

Maybe the only difference is the brand name between it and the Better Bobbin winder by Dritz. This is an older posting but here's a link to some hints.
