    I use s/s button when doing my serptine quilting stitch. Usually sew a much more even stitch. Just love it.

    I use my start/stop button when I free motion quilt. I can set the speed I want the machine to stitch and by using that button, I only have to think about moving the quilt sandwich. I think the stitches are more even this way.

    Eureka! Why did I never think of that? I've never used the start-stop button til I read this thread yesterday, so I tried it today. It was ok, but I'm accustomed to the foot pedal. But, to set the speed on the machine and then use the button is brilliant!
