    Yes, I wash all my fabric. As soon as I buy it, and bring it home, it goes in the wash machine and dryer. Then I fold it and when I'm ready to use it, I iron it and starch it real good. My girlfriend made my daughter a baby quilt when she had her daughter, and she used batiks that she never washed first. The quilt bled where there were dark colors. She didn't think it would do that. So, I wash everything....Just to be safe..
