I love to look at other member's work. I'm pretty sure we all do. But sometimes - especially on the backs - my eyes get so confused! I know that the quilting lines are "in" and the fabric puffs "out", but I see it reversed. This drives me crazy! Then I concentrate or don't concentrate and suddenly I can see it the way it really looks. Tell me I'm not too crazy. Does this happen to anyone else?

You are not alone. Mine do that to with some quilts and the stitching.

Or---- maybe it's just the two of us.

Could you post a picture to show what you mean? It might be like one of those things that I don't see it until you show me then I see it... like the arrow in the FedEx logo.

Yes that happens to me all the time. It reminds me of that optical illusion with the spinning cat. Once I figure out how to get it to spin the opposite way I can't get it to spin the original way. I'll find it and post a link.

I always see a star when I first look at a tumbling block quilt. I try to point it out to other people and they still don't see it. I really have to concentrate to see the tumbling blocks.
