I made a quilt for my parents and ran out of fabric for the binding . I strip pieced my scraps into 3 inch wide strips and sewed them all together. I ten cut them the width of my binding. It is the prettiest binding I have ever put on a quilt. I get lots of compliments on it.

This is the way I feel, too. Almost to the finish line and can't wait to cross it.

I always have hard time with the corners. I hope someday I master this binding.

I don't mind binding because it means that I'm done! Yeah!

Do some small projects and get some practice with binding. I made a bunch of mug rugs last Christmas. They were so fun that I don't feel intimidated by the bindings any more.

I like putting on the binding and hand sewing it, BUT I've never done a 120" X 120" quilt.

Binding is one of my favorite parts of a quilt. I sit in a chair and watch TV ( mostly just listen ) and relax. I am happy when a customer wants me to do the binding :)
