The binding is the best part and check for info on u tube. I love to sit and watch TV while I do this and I find it very relaxing.Let's face it we all need more time to relax, take this opportunity to do it and relax.

Binding is my least favorite part of quilting! I put it off until I have to do it!

I have 5 quilts, sandwiched, quilted and binding cut sitting on a pile in my sewing room. I don't get to the binding until I either need a gift or decide I want to use it.

My LAQ binds mine for $5. I just give her the strip. After I make a quilt, that's all I want to do ; )

Your quilt is beautiful and I'm sure you will love it after it is bound! I really dislike binding and one of my favorite stories is about that. My daughter was home for her sister's wedding. I was showing her quilts I had finished -- except for binding -- which was about 12-15 quilts. That night when we went to bed, my husband leaned over and I thought he was going to kiss me goodnight or say something romantic -- he looked at me and said "Just how many quilts do you have started?" I was speechless!! That fink of a daughter had told him about my stash of unbound quilts!

It is not my a part of quilting I enjoy, but since I watched some videos on YouTube of how to machine bind, it goes fast.

I have 5 quilts that need the binding finished. I have it sewn on but need to hand stitch it to the back. What is keeping me from finishing is one of them is Batik fabric and I am only half finished with it. Makes my fingers hurt pulling the needle through the Batik fabric. Good Luck!!!!

Sorry about the double posting! How does that happen? Wish there was a way to delete our own posts.

To the mother whose daughter told hubby about the UFO stash:

You HAVE to teach your daughter how to keep quiet about some things! Maya Angelou once told me, "It's important always to tell the truth. It is not, however, required to tell ALL of the truth." Tell your lovely daughter that!
