    I use to do it all the time. Lately I have made separate binding. I like either way. I think it looks better with a separate binding. What ever floats your boat.

    i've used it a time or two on quilts, but use it all the time for wall hanging. It cut down on having to buy a traditional frame.

    My first quilt was a kit and I did it alone with just the little knowledge that I got from watching my mom.When I got to the binding part I was stuck. So I wrapped the border under and whipped stitched it to the back. When I look at it now I kind of smile. If my mom noticed anything she never let on.FayZ
