I do exactly as you do (and I am diagnosed AAD), I need the instant gratification I get from placemats-pincushions, glass cases ,coasters, etc. The bigger projects get set aside while I do these little things which I mostly give away as gifts.

    You could call it multi-tasking.

My husband is the same way, I have a crocheted afghan started and he doesn't think I should do anything else til it's done, and then there is my painting and drawing....I am trying to finish one picture before I start another one! Maybe that's why I haven't started a quilt yet!!

I must be the one with the problem. I like to finish a project before starting another. Don't everyone scream at me.

Amen! I'm terrible about getting things almost finished and then starting something else.

And I actually do have A.D.D. Been tested and all. I just live with it. :)

Thank you for sharing your story!! As with all of the others who responded to this topic, I believe that I have a bit of what seems to "ail" many of us!! Your story, however, makes me smile!! Oh, my.....can just imagine how you felt when you looked at those curtains and realized it was the same fabric.

    Happy day!
