I like their fabrics and use a lot of them. I do think you need to look them over closely before buying. I've got home with some that had big flaws in them, but most that I buy are fine.

I totally enjoyed any fabrics if they are good quality---from Walmart, garage sales, thrift stores---etc. I miss being able to get fabric at Walmart----it was my favorite "time out" when traveling.

The Wal-Mart nearest me is closing its fabric line in August. I have bought from them and will miss being able to search out fabric there.

I've gotten some great fabric at our Wal-Mart, but I'm always careful what I buy. I've also had good luck online. Only bad fabric I've gotten was on eBay.

Yes, I do like SOME of the fabrics. I really have to look at them and see how many dots or numbers are on the selvedge, that tells the whole story. The more dots the better the fabric.

WalMart has discontinued carring fabric in Pace, FL where I live in the winter...don't know what they are thinking. I like WalMart fabric..especially the quilters cotton for $2.50/yrd. Am thinking about boycotting WalMart...they were going to discontinue fabric last year and I wrote a letter stating how many people can't afford quilt shop prices..looks like it did no good.

I always thought that the number of dots meant how many colors were used in the print - not the basic quality of the original fabric.

Me too. The dots are for each color used in the printing process. I don't think it has anything to do with quality.
