I have purchased WM fabrics in the past and have used them in some real cute charity quilts. Currently, the WMs in our town are not carrying fabrics, so buying from them is not an option. I really need to use from my stash anyway. Right now I buy a lot from JoAnn's if I need backing, etc.

I love being able to purchase fabric at Walmart. I check for the weave quality. If I am using it for small piecing or applique and the weave is tight, I'll buy. I wish they had more to choose from

True, WM does NOT have the selection of a nice LQS, but I have gotten some GREAT fabrics there.
I sure like WM fabrics. If I knew they would keep the fabrics, I would write in a 100 times. I know they have some thinner stuff, but they also have really good stuff. We have 3 WM's in Saskatoon, but only 1 still carries it, & they don't have very much. I have a feeling they're on thier way out.

Maybe we should start a new *bring back the fabric* campaign to Walmart. Anyone know the email address?

Same here, love a lot of their fabric, but have not made any quilts yet, so can't say how they stand up.
