Does anyone else sew barefoot?

I always sew barefoot and I discourage anyone wearing shoes in my sewing room. I often lay things out of the floor for pinning, planning etc so I like to know that there is only thread, fabric and dust which is easily removed.

I also take off my shoes as soon as I get in house. I think its because in my day we had very few shoes,if any. I also liked to go barefoot outdoors. My kids found me a pair slippers for xmas with rough bottoms-non slip and very easy to slip on,so now I wear them.

Barefoot always. In the winter I wear slippers but only to walk around they come off for sewing I wear socks though getting old and I feel the cold more. Hate shoes but as I have gotten older I have to wear them outside since I have plantar fasciitis. In the summer though I do go to the mail box barefoot. My dog also thinks we are going somewhere if I put shoes on. lol

I don't go barefoot anymore-have stepped on too many little things-my girls left their Jacks on the floor and I stepped on one in the middle of the night and that cured me of barefooting. I put my houseshoes or crock flip flops on when I come in the house and I sew in either.
