I have this machine on lay-a-way at my sew and vac. They matched the Amazon price, plus I get the dealer support. I too wanted an embroidery only machine-I didn't want to pay for sewing features I would never use. My sew and vac sells every brand, and they specifically told me to get a brother-they said they are the easiest and most user-friendly machines available. I trust them completely, and can't wait to get it.

I don't have that particular machine, but I have two Brother Sewing/Embroidery machines and my first embroidery machine was the Brother 280. Every Brother I have had has been fabulous. My little 280 embroidered every bit as good as my high-end embroidery machine. Brothers are very user friendly and easy to learn to use. Have fun.

I, too, am a Brother fan. I have a Brother sewing machine, sewing/embroidery machine and serger. My first embroidery machine was a Brother PE-150, I used is for years and sold it and the lady I sold it to has a business and she is still using it. She also bought my friend's and is still using it. They are little work horses.

Susan, I have two brother embroidery machines one is an innovis and I love it. The reason why I bought brother is because you can take it out of the box and embroider and not have to be a genuis to run it. I use pre wound bobbins and love them. any questions let me know....Laura

I just got this PE770 this Christmas as a present. Used it to embroider 35 jackets for my swim team kids. Name, team logo etc. It worked like a charm.I think it is a good buy for the money.
