Does anyone have a link for a small purse for 2 yr old?
I want to make my GD who is 2, a purse to carry her small toys in. Mom says she is using a basket to carry them around the house, so I thought I would make her a small purse/tote. Nothing fancy, just a tote of some kind. If there a blog or web page somewhere that might have that, I know you guys will know where it is. Thanks in advance for your help.

There are several at the Moda Bake Shop. I'm planning to make the one below for my granddaughter. It's a gift bag so it will be small enough for a one year old.

I also have a pattern from JoAnn for a bag made from a denim pocket. But I don't have the link for that one. You could search the Joann.com website.

What a sweet idea! A purse would make her play so fun. She would be able to pretend all sorts of important 'places to go' with her purse and when she 'gets there' she can fish around in her purse, just like Mom, and then sit down to play. Love it! Oh to be a kid again!

HEre is a link for a cute little bag, and the pattern is free. I have made this bag and received many compliments on it. The free size is small enough for kids.

What I have done is go to coloring pages, download a simple animal and use it as an applique pattern. Years ago, I made several for a craft sale. I sold my quilts, but 2 ragged little girls kept looking dreamily at my bags. DH said to give them away when we were closing up. I did. You should have seen their faces!
