If anyone has the Martelli Gripper ring and wants to sell it please send me a private message. Not interested in the Halo.

I was recently sent home with something similar to try from our LQS where I'll be teaching beginning machine quilting. The owner ordered some to have available for sale when I teach. However, I'm more of a FMQ allover quilter and don't stay in the same place very long. Some of my 'motifs' are larger than the ring. Another problem(with the style I tried) was that it kept getting hung up on the integrated walking foot attachment on the back of my machine. (Janome 6600) I returned the loaner ring. I'm happier with my machinger gloves.

Don't buy one, I'll send you mine. I like machinger gloves! Pm me with your address. Dianne

I will let the next person purchase the Martelli rings. Really not in my budget. I will stick to my kitchen gloves. My hands would get sweaty but I fixed that and just cut holes out of the top knuckle areas. $4.00 for the gloves. The finger tips have nubbies on them for gripping.

The Halo is for small quilt designs. I wouldn't use it for large or all over quilting.

I use 2 over sized erasers from the Dollar Tree.

I have it too and LOVE it. I use the small one most of the time.

I have one and have never used it personally. And honestly I don't wear gloves either. I like the feel of the fabric directly on my fingers.
