Does anyone have a singer 15-91? Help!

Hello,
Im not sure what you mean. My husband tears them apart and puts them back together when we find them cheap. He says he thinks it should be tight but he is not positve what you mean.

What a cute machine! I had never heard or seen one of these. If you can, I'd love to see a pic of it. Here's a page on them and at the bottom of their page is a free download of it's manual. Skeat

The motor set up on a Singer 15-91 and a class 15 "clone" would be quite different. The 15-91 has no belt. The class 15 "clone" is belt driven, and the belt should only be tight enough to drive the machine without slipping. Over tightening the blet will casue damage to the motor bushings.
