I don't have that table but it sure looks useful for a FW. I just set my FW on a big long table and sew away.

The reason I want one is so I can set it up downstairs, not in my sewing room.

From what I remember of the originals .... were they not basically a card table?
And not all that stable even way back then?

While it's nice to go original, for me, something solid and stable would be my choice.
At 45 lbs. this one should fill that bill easily! It's a nice match to the FW machine.

    Go ahead ... treat yourself!

I have the Arrow Gidget 2 for my Juki DX7 and I must say I adore the table it’s sturdy and well built, I’m very pleased with my purchase and IMHO it was well worth the money. This looks to be very similarly constructed sonce it manufactured by the same company I think you’ll be thrilled with it. As QuitE said, I believe the originals were very similar to a card table so this might very well be a better upgrade! Let us know what you decide!

I have the same brand & table but not for featherweight. I really like it. I did go ahead and buy the plexi insert as mine was made for different size models. But very sturdy.

I’m still hoping I can get one of these someday. This is furniture, so a bit more expensive, but so pretty and can be used in the house if needed.

I don't have that table, but I have the original that looks like a card table. It is in a closet and I would post a pix, but is in hubby's bdrm and he is asleep still, as it is 4:55 a.m.. He is known to sleep as late as almost 9!!

I've thot of selling my original table, I have never used it nor the FW 221 machine. But then I think it might be best to keep them together for my estate. Yet, they use space...so it is a decision I have been groping to make. I only have a son left in our family...he is a bachelor and doesn't sew! Wish I had some grand daughters.
