I got this tool for christmas called quick and easy block tool ....its a great tool.....but I have a question. When it is telling you the block sizes....example 4 inch 6 inch 12 inch......is that the finished size of the block once its in a quilt? I need to make 12.5 inch blocks for a swap and I want to use the blocks from this tool but I just wanna make sure its not gonna turn out 12 inches unfinished.

I do not know what tool it is. It sounds interesting. Does it have a name on the package? Can you make a sample block of another fabric and then measure it?

I took a look at it and it does look like its a finished size, but to play on the safe side look up the block you want say on quiltercache.com check your piece sizes to make your comparison.

I bought this tool a few years ago when my old QS used it for their store BOM. It does come out as 12.5" unfinished and 12" in the quilt.
