Question Does anyone know the definition

I've been reviewing some quilting patterns for an upcoming project and have run across the term, 'page turner' several times. I have done some searching for a definition but no luck so far...

Do you know what 'page turner' means in relation to quilting?

    Thanks

To me it means it is so stunning/interesting that you want to turn the page to learn more about it.

Could you give us one or more of the websites where you saw the term? I've never heard of that other than a long time ago when I was playing piano, a page turner was assigned when you were playing a difficult piece of music. Sadly I haven't played in years and have lost most of my ability except for "very" simple pieces.

I am curious to see how quilting needs a "page turner". Now, turn the page to the next step makes sense to me.

I've heard of books being described as "page turners" - they are so exciting that one can't put them down until one comes to the end.

Here's one - there were several others as well. It's about half way down...

I'm guessing it's simply the name of Page Johnson's pattern line.

ETA: She does quilting patterns, not quilt patterns.

I've see it on others sites as well. I wondered if it was defining a 'new' type of pattern...(i.e. new technique).
    Just curious...

Sounds like it's a play on words. Her name is Page and her quilts are exciting like a good book. Hence her patterns are Page Turner patterns?

I agree with zozee & ghostrider. It appears to be a play of words with her first name being Page. She has a line of quilting patterns that are for single blocks or for width of quilt. You get both when you buy her quilting patterns. Page Turner appears to be the term she has coined to describe this usage of the same pattern in a single block or for an entire quilt.

Maybe you can find out more at her website...the title of which is another play on words.
