    My niece is getting a divorce and I know of the wedding quilt wondering with this day and age if anyone has created a divorce quilt?

    Someone may have created it, or given one for the occasion but I don't believe that I have ever heard of a "Divorce" quilt.

    Sounds like a lovely quilt, hacked in half with jagged edges, fraying threads, batting poking out at odd angles. . .

    I guess it depends if the person is happy to be divorced or not.

    A quilt with a theme of "new beginnings" would be nice... about looking to the future, onwards and upwards kind of thing. :-)

    I think it's hilarious!!! I've heard of divorce showers!! How about making it twin size (single)...LOL :mrgreen:

    Okay, that's hysterical. For those of you who don't know, I'm a DIVORCE lawyer!!!!! I think it'd be awesome to make one for some of my favorite clients!! Think they'd love it, or never want to use it?? Probably depends on the client...

    I like the hacked in half idea! Jagged, of course! Because how many divorces go smoothly, Esqmommy? You could market these babies and sell them like hotcakes! LOL! Just imagine the fabric choices! You could get so creative! Or mean! LOL!
