    I saw a picture of it on pinterest - it was in black, white and red ... so I made the pattern based on the pic, and made it "softer" with different colours

    [ATTACH=CONFIG]540382[/ATTACH]I finished one one with that pattern this past summer. It was called the Binding Tool quilt from Jenny Doan, but it essentially is the French Braid with a new name. Her pattern does not put in the sashing. I did not follow her pattern for the border because I wanted to make it larger to create enough to cover the pillows and hang down.

    I saw arrows going all directions, so would call it "Directional".
