Default Does anyone know the name of this quilt block?

A friend of mine has this quilt she's trying to re-create, but she doesn't know the name of the block. I've never seen it before, and can't seem to find it online. Does anyone here know? It would be so helpful!

Don't know the name but looks like Dresden with WR center. Really like this!

It is a version of a Dresden Plate. Looks like it would be very easy to draft or create with EQ7. I did look through the blocks that come with EQ and block base and did not find it but did find this exact block by doing a google search for Dresden plate variation.

Reminds me of this recent post:

except every 4th blade is pointed, with a melon center.

I'd like to try this one, but with a smaller plain center, nice quilt!

Thanks so much! I will let her know. I didn't know that Barbara Brackman's book had a digital version called Blockbase. I'll have to look into that.

looks like it would be fairly easy to draft out in any size one wanted.
