Stepping Stones, found in Encyclopedia of Classic Quilt Patterns, published in 2001 by Oxmoor House.

The pattern is Wrapped In Red and was in American Patchwork & Quilting's December 2011 issue (I am not positive about this date). The quilt was featured on the front cover. Kit was (may still be) available from Seasons of Home. Hope this helps you find it. It is a very pretty red and white quilt.

The same pattern turned up in Fons and Porter called "Grandmother's Star" by Nancy Mahoney. I only know this because I happened to be looking through the Scrappy Quilt Show thread a few minutes ago, and was admiring a quilt by roguequilter that she posted in April, and that's the source she gave for her pattern. Her version is a scrappy rather than 2 colors. You can see it about midway down this page in pastel blue, pink and yellow. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...135936-47.html I think it's a lovely, traditional pattern by whatever name!

    Default Found it!

For those who may want to know, I found the pattern in my local quilt shop and, very surprisingly, the quilt store owner is the maker of the pattern! I was showing him a picture online and was happily stunned to find he designed it. Here's a picture of it and where you can buy it if you are interested.

It's a different color arrangement and different borders, but if it's close enough for you that's all that counts. Have fun making it!
