Default Does anyone know this pattern?

Saw this on pinterest and find it interesting. Had no name of quilt or maker.
    Does anyone recognize it.

If you are looking at the one with the rings, It looks like the first post under the photo is from the maker and it was in the 2010 Tokyo International Quilt Festival.

That doesn't surprise me that it might be a quilter in Japan. it is absolutely stunning quilt with interlocking circles.

Honestly, Japanese quilters can't be beat. They take such pride in doing excellent work or don't do it at all. A friend gave me several Japanese quilting magazines. I could frame each picture.

Nancy, I had seen that guild website, just thought asking here may be quicker. Am sure I've seen it somewhere before.
Princess, I googled the 2010 Tokyo Show, and found some awesome quilts. Many of them seem to be in beige shades, maybe just the photography, but they show just how much I don't know (and would like to) about pattern designing.

Gives me an idea on using my Tru Cut Circle Ruler! Cut rings for applique, intertwine them by clipping them and press, quilt. Keep it simple.

Is that a triple weeding ring quilt? I have the pattern for a triple wedding ring quilt somewhere. I found it a while back in an old issue of a magazine. I think it was from 1970 something. I will have to dig in the mess in my sewing room to see if I can find it. I bought the magazine on ebay.

Looks like Celtic circles. Celtic goes over and under.
