Default Does anyone recognize this Fons and Porter pattern?

Someone posted a picture of a quilt they had finished on one of the groups I belong to and mentioned that it was from Fons and Porter but without a name for the pattern I have not been able to identify it. I can pretty well figure out how it is put together but was wondering if anyone has any specifics on it. I know you guys will come up with an answer for me. Thanks in advance. Ann in TN

I think it was a pattern that Mark Lapinski did for the Quilts of Valor program? Try searching under his name?

Hmmm. Well, the stripes are Drunkard's Path blocks, and the stars are Ohio star blocks. Maybe you could contact the blogger and ask her for the quilt name.

Yep that is Lipinski's QOV, it is from the Sept/Oct 2012 issue. I saw it at my library just last week.

You guys are quick to reply! I found what I needed on the Fons and Porter website. I could tell that it was a Drunkard's Path block. It was interesting to see that they feature a QOV quilt each month. Here are the details:

Stars & Stripes -- Patriotic Quilt of Valor by Mark Lipinski. Machine quilted by Mary Ames

In each issue of Love of Quilting, we include a pattern that meets the guidelines established by the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Mark Lipinski's patriotic quilt with its red, white, and blue stars and wavy red and white stripes is the perfect size for a Quilt of Valor.

    Size: 67" × 81"
    Blocks: 19 (7") Star blocks
