I bought Quilt Pro many years ago. When I installed it, it was too advanced for me. I didn't use it much.

I'm now a more experienced quilter and I'm thinking of upgrading it to the latest version but wondered what users thought of it.

I know most people I know use EQ and I'm wondering if that is a better software.

I wonder if EQ will give a competitive upgrade?

I have no idea which one is better. I bought Quilt Pro version 4 and upgraded it to the current version 5 when it first came out. I have been very happy with it. It does everything I want it to do and when it doesn't--reviewing the manual usually helps--LOL! They also have a support forum that handles those very infrequent times when reading the manual doesn't help.

I have much more trouble figuring out my embroidery software than I ever had with Quilt Pro. I can build, rebuild, and transfer entire computer networks but that darned embroidery stops me in my tracks!

I did a quick SEARCH (at the top) for quilt pro and found a number of threads on this. Maybe this will help you.

I have EQ7 and am just learning it. I have found out that the lessons REALLY do help!!  But I can tell you it is a fun and addictive program.
