My husband doesn't complain too much. He just doesn't get involved much. Sometimes when we're out and about he'll stop by the quilt shop and say I'm deserving to go buy something! Of course, I go by myself several times too. Yeah!

I don't have that problem, I use my own money and he doesn't pay attention to my stash anyway.

Shoot, he gets so confused at what I make anyway, as I'm always sewing! LOL

I have tons of fabric, hubby doesn't get mad if I buy it, but sometimes will ask if I need it.

My husband is a saint. His first wife just about sank the family with her get rich quick schemes some of which involved sewing, seamstressing etc. You'd think he'd be wary and distrustful of another sewing wife! But he is fantastic. He loves my quilts. Whenever we travel he scouts out the quilting stores for me and makes sure I get shopping! His favorite phrase, "This a great chance to find some fabrics you can't get around home"

My DH loves to shop and loves to spend money! LOL He has his Harley, his woodworking stuff and goes on a pheasant hunting trip every year, oh - and he plays golf. Those are costly hobbies - a box of (cheap) golf balls is 30 bucks! He does not comment on the money I spend for quilting, but I have been guilty of harping about how much he spends. I am the penny pincher in the family. I search for bargains and use coupons. The money is being spent on something worthwhile....I could be at a bar drinking the paycheck ... or at a casino gambling....or spending hours at a spa. I don't work outside of the home anymore and I must have something to do besides taking care of the dogs, cooking and housework or I would be a crabby you know what. I have always been creative and I spend most of my time crafting something or other. He knew this about me before we were married.

Just the opposite! I am so lucky. Jim loves for me to enjoy my hobby (habit). He has always supported anything I do.

My husband gave up on me a long time ago, he knows that I am addicted to buying fabric , I just have to try to cut corners on other matters.
