Will need help with some BRIGHT colors I brought. Will post when I can get a picture.
Today I turned 64. Can't wait until next year when I retire to devote time to quilting. Will continue to buy fabric for next year.
Love the quilting board. I am learning so much.
When I retired in 2004 I had a list of things I wanted to do since I would have so much spare time. I do genealogy, search for Biological parents for adopted people, make jewelry, and raise money for charities. I also wanted to learn to play the keyboard and recently I have a desire to take up quilting. I have started buying the things I will need to quilt and also a Baby blanket quilt Kit. Now if I can find some time to cut it out I can start learning to quilt. I think you will find you are busier than ever after you retire. Also I went back to work part time so I could afford all these hobbies.LOL

Happy Birthday! :) I'm fairly new at quilting and yesterday I went through my "stash" (small at this time) for the first time and managed to actually find a few pieces I could use on a new project. Makes it more fun. Your stash sounds fantastic!

I've had to start saying to myself, no more fabric until I use some!

I think if you have 1 piece of fabric not in use you have a stash pile started.HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you and hope you have alot in your stash by the time you retire. Have fun. Mary
