    I used to prewash but never do now....I don't want to spend the time. Only one fabric bled...and it was turquoise, not red. I use alot of red but not alot of white. I feel no guilt.

    I don't wash..I like the look of the extra little bit of shrink. And since they have those wonderful color catcher things I don't worry about the fabric colors leaching onto others...I've made many many quilts and haven't had a problem yet. =)

    I don't prewash. I was told by my LQS there is no need to. They said with the quality of quilt store fabric today there's little chance of fading, bleeding and on very minor shrinkage. Hope they know what they're talking about! :roll: :roll: :roll:

    Only batiks and handyed fabrics. I will do a test swatch on some darker colors :D:D:D

    I dont wash my fabrics either. I love the look of the fabrics without being washed. The only time that I do wash the fabric is when I sew with flannel. Dont like to wash it before and dont intend to start lol!!

    I very rarely wash fabrics before using. I love the crinkly and soft look and feel of a quilt after it is completed and washed for the first time.
