    I use an empty cardboard form for a bolt of fabric to prop up the back of my machine. This can accommodate my machine and the legs of the acrylic table.

    I cut out my fabric on my center island when I know I will be going to the chiropractor in the near future. Even bend over for a few minuets can give me lots of pain. I no longer can do hand sewing because of my neck and right arm. I get up and down a lot when sewing but have noticed that the next day my wrists are really sore. I do what I can when I can and just keep plugging away.
    Take care of your body , it does wear out.

    I do reverse sit ups. I lay on my stomach and lift my arms and legs up. I agree with the core strengthening. I plank into a pushup position then hold that for as long as I can.

    This happens to me as well. I need to get away from the sewing machine and sit in my lounge chair to recover before starting again. I am sooo glad when I get to bed at night.
