    Yup! I lived in Texas about 50 miles from the New Mexico border most of my life and your quilt definitely looks Southwest. Lost of people in North Texas (60 miles north of Dallas and 30 miles south of Durant, Oklahoma) think Southwest colors are tan and brown and off white. They are shocked to discover how bright SW colors are! I love your quilt and know it will look terrific in your room. froggyintexas

    Again, thanks, everyone for your sweet comments. I now have 3/7 of the top done. It is looking more Southwest to me. And your comments have really really helped.

    Absolutely. The bargello even looks a little Indian making it even more southwestern looking.

    Well, I am impressed that you remember my quit inspector's name. And you are right, he doesn't worry about much, as long as I give him his fair share of my chair!
