Default Does my sampler need some color

Our guild has been working on a sampler quilt.... I resized my blocks and this is basically what I ended up with... Do you think I should add some colored sashing or a colored border... haven't picked boarder fabric yet.... suggestions.... my focus fabric with the flowery gray. We had to use it in each block. thanks ladies.

I like the quilt as is. It's hard to say without knowing your taste or the idea behind your guild's project. Is there a story behind the project? W/o knowing more, I think a red would look nice.

no other rules... no story.... I just didn't want to do traditional 12 in blocks in rows.... do you think border or should I mix some red into the quilt...

I think a red would really make the blocks pop. But white or aqua blue might too. I would audition a few colours before making a decision. BTW nice blocks!

Beautiful blocks. I like the monochromatic scheme.

Yes, Red would work thats my favorite color however I think a bright Aqua blue or a yellow would also work. Not all three just one of those

Personally, I would add some red, either as a small outer border or as sashing. But it's your quilt.

Even if you framed it in black. Your fabric choices are beautiful!

Nice blocks. I think a spot of red would really make it shine. Maybe a thin border and then again as the binding. Lay it out and see how that looks to you
