Seriously, not much. He does get me gift cards to my favorite LQS so that helps, and he does the dishes. Other than that......
I hear you!! Ditto here. I don't spend as much time quilting when my husband is home mostly because I want to spend time with him! He does help in a lot of other ways, support mostly, and occasionally ideas. Not much help with my current project as when he lookd at the scope he said "your nuts" and walked out of the sewing room :)

My DH helped with the math & cutting - now he's quilting! It's great having him for a quilt buddy :)

My DH will help with some things like building, moving, but nothing much else. I asked him last night if he wanted to learn to quilt so we could quilt together and he said NO WAY, I don't want to quilt...I'M A MAN! Besides, he said, I would probably like it and we can't afford for both of us to quilt.

I know I have told you about my Dh before but he is SOOOOO great. The only problem is that he started off just helping and then started doing his own quilts!! We regularly work together on a quilt.

Just last week he finished pieceing a quilt I was working on for a client as I got a rush job came in. He did exactly half of it! His half is more accurate than mine!!!

He jokes though about quilting - he hasn't tried more than a tiny sample of FMQ, but he's so scared of it!! He says he sends his quilt out to to be quilted - to me!! On the other side of the table!!!!

    lol my hubby helps by

    1. He built my nice sewing room.
    2. He bought me a fantastic sewing machine.
    3. He never complains about my buying fabric (even when I buy just because & have no plans for it & have 30 projects wtg to be done already).
    4. He encouraged me to start my longarm quilting business.
    5. He helps take care of the grand kids when the customer quilts are come'n in faster than I can quilt them.
    6. He comes down to my studio every now and then to see if I 'need' anything :) And sometimes just to give me a hug lol

He just chuckles if I ask his opinion about anything and says what you ask'n me for, I'm color blind lol

But he does his fair share of the housekeeping, all the cooking, doesn't say a word to me about how much time or money I spend quilting, listens patiently to my "somebody on QB said" stories and admires everything I make.

This sounds just like my sweet hubby!!!

Mine helps me by supplying my addiction. As far as actual help while quilting, you just made me laugh. :0)
