I was just wondering if any other husbands help them with their quilting projects? Mine helps cut all the fabric. That's what he is doing today on his day off from work and I am heading to work now.

My DH helps me with drafting. I'm terrible at it! He's also really good with color coordinating.
But he cooks all the time- that's the best help ever!!!!!!! :D:D

Mine helps when he leaves. LOL
Seriously, not much. He does get me gift cards to my favorite LQS so that helps, and he does the dishes. Other than that......

Yeah!! I am with SUsan, as long as my guy cooks I'm happy. I wouldn't trust him with a pair of scissors and fabric!! I'Ve never asked him to help, but I 'm sure he would if I needed it.

Nope. But he did buy me a 40 yd. roll of Warm & White recently. That's a first!
But he sure likes it when he gets a quilt for himself! :)

My DH will fix anything I need -- more shelves, moving things, etc. He even drove 3 hours last summer on the hottest day of the year (no A/C in the pickup) to dis-mantle and pick up the Longarm and frame, drove back the same day and started putting it together. I'll take that over red roses and flowers ANY day! I'm a very fortunate woman. He will NOT try out the longarm, will NOT cut any fabric....LOL and I don't want him to!!!! He works on his Harley and I quilt

My husband helps me cut fabric, but I am trying to manage to do that on my own now. He also gives me advice on fabrics and things when I ask. My DH is a wonderful helper.

My DH helps by staying out of my way and out of my sewing room!

He is all thumbs with gigantic hands, so there is no way he could do any cutting.

He is also colorblind so there is no way he could give fabric advice.

He is very supportive of all I do though, and that is the best help of all.
