Wow I kove everything about your spring quilt, the water stitched splashes the fish is just to cute.
Which 2 fabrics where you given? I'd love to be a part of a guild, but live 40 miles from the nearest gravel road and plum, down in the sticks.

I don't currently belong to a guild, so can't help there. But what a wonderful quilt. Your design and execution are perfect!

cute...our guild here in boring old Enid, OK does Nothing...we don't even have a show..BUT the little guild up in Anthony, KS does a show every two years, so the next one is 2013...might have to put a bug in the Pres. ear to do something like this!

Very nice job on your hanging. The guild I belong to has had two challenges so far. For the first we were given 3 fabrics and had to use all 3 plus one of our own to create a small quilt that was any shape but square. For the second we picked 3 crayons from a bag (couldn't see what we were getting) and had to make a small quilt with those colors only. This year we were asked to bring 2 ugly fabrics in a bag you couldn't see through and we exchanged bags. We were to make a comfort quilt with the fabrics plus any we wanted to add. These we put in our quilt show before they went to a shelter.

The water and the salmon colour. I thought the fish was a pretty obvious choice. It'll be interesting to see if there are other fish.

Our challenge this year is to make a quilt (any size, any pattern) that has curves in it. I just finished a "night and day" heart quilt, which I think will be my challenge entry.
