I saw these desktop organizers at the Dollar Tree and thought that they would make super duper sewing table organizers. The letter holder is great for patterns and the compartmental one can hold lots of sewing stuff, the pin cushion has a steel scrubber inside to sharpen needles and pins as needed and the little plastic box came from the dollar Tree as well. They were marked as condiment holders for your lunch box. They work for that pretty good too but this one is for bobbins and such.

You can find some very handy stuff at dollar stores! I always look at everything -- just in case I can find something that can be used for something other than its orginal purpose.

I can not walk out of the Dollar Store with at least 5 items, whether I needed them or not!

The letter holder might work for rulers too. Now I'll have to run up to Dollar Tree and see if they have them here because I've been looking for something to organize rulers.

Oh yes this would be great for organizing rulers, I have several of the wooden ones, so I did not think of this, but it might hold more than the wooden ones....hmmmm I think I need to make a trip into town.

What a neat idea. Now you won't have to go rummaging around to find your rotary cutter.
