I quilt with a group and we quilt for Pregnancy Lifeline Fort Worth. We make baby quilts and the moms that choose to not abort their babies get to pick a handmade quilt for the baby. Last year our group made/gave so many quilts that the women who were "on the fence" with the big decision were able to receive a quilt before deciding. About 87% of those women chose life! We hold fundraisers to purchase fabric and our group has a "group stash" from which we can pick to make our quilts. We don't have a size requirement and we can use whatever patterns we want...

Your project sounds like it is wonderfully worth-while. What a blessing to be part of a ministry like that!

what organizations to you donate to?

Do you belong to a group that does them or do you do them on all your own?

What size quilts to you make and how complicated of a pattern do you generally use?

I don't deal with outside organizations. I chose my charities directly-------someone or some group I know personally. I do support two autism groups, one in Indiana and one in Virginia. Also a private foundation who is affiliated with "First Candle."

I do QFK from my own stash and help with fundraising. Our Ann Arbor chapter donates to Mott's Children's Hospital and the Monroe Advocacy Center.
