    That was my thought, too! I doubt there's ANY of us who do a project without some screw ups - it's just part of the learning process. Just don't make it part of an "I'm going to mess up' mind set! Good luck!

    Actually I'm usually very good at piecing and have done quite a few I'm proud of. I'm not down on myself but this one is just "one of those"!

    I could list you at least 6 things that went wrong and all were "operator error"!

    Can't afford the black batting and backing at the moment so I'll do some other fun project and maybe my brain will recover!

    Thanks Lyndy! I fixed them all except for the edge that the "breeze" frayed!

    If anyone want the pattern its free and I'll post a new thread with the link.
