As I've only recently started making quilts, I haven't given any away yet. They haven't even been washed because they're christmas presents and I'm going to wash 2 or 3 at a time so when they're hanging outside, I'll take a picture then.

But my mom did that all the time. She'd see a pattern and say, "oh I did that" but there's no picture of it anywhere!!

Okay, here is a suggestion that I do. I have been taking pictures of my first quilt with my cell iphone. Then when I get a moment, I upload them to my computer. The phone does a great job quickly and most of the time it is laying on the table beside me in my quilting area. Quick and easy. Also great for taking with me to the fabric store when I am trying find matching fabrics.

I do it all the time. If you looked in my quilt book you wouldn't think I make many quilts. I just need to put it in my priority list!

I've done it too. I am working on that though. The problem with me is that the sewing room and where I keep the camera are not close together. Guess I need one JUST for the sewing room.

That works fine if you have a cell phone. I don't have one and don't want one.
