We share the cleaning and hubby does almost all the cooking. He even did the grocery shopping today with his mother while I stayed home and quilted my little heart out. It's been awhile so I am thankful. I'm working on 3 quilts today, gotta love it!

We moved this summer and downsized significantly. I discovered that I had a lot more rulers than I remembered -- spent a lot of time "finding" those items that were put in a safe (obvious??) place that I could never remember. One thing I found was a set of 25 templates of different size diamonds, squares and triangles that are pink Lucite. I totally forgot about them (think I got them in the 1990's), but wow they are useful. Love found items!!

I did get some cleaning done today - my studio! I was at a stopping place one one project and didn't want to start the next in such a mess so I cleaned - boy did I clean! I even put a new cover on my ironing board, which it needed badly. I swept and swept and swept - so many bunnies! Where do they all come from? I put fabric away, organized a big bunch of 2" squares, and moved some electrical cords around so they no longer drape across the top of my sewing machine cabinet. Did I mention I swept? Tomorrow I will clean and oil my machine and get started on a table runner for some dear, dear friends - in my nice clean, well-organized studio!

    Happy quilting!
