I don't ask, so he doesn't get the chance to say no! But if it doesn't come from Sears' tool department, I can guarantee you the answer would be no. He has yet to acknowledge one single quilt I've done.

I had my hubby's Lowe's card, his Home Depot card and a $100 dollar bill with orders to buy paint for the living room. I spent most of the hundred at ACE!

I have to admit, I was tempted, but didn't have the time to scour either of the other places.

Actually, I was looking at buying a BabyLock Tiara (similar to the HQ16). DH went with me to look and it. While I was playing with the Tiara, he started looking at the Crown Jewel and talking to the dealer. Then he came over to me and said, "I think you would like the long arm better." It was delivered last Monday. He is having as much fun playing with it as I am. I'm going to keep him! lol

Be happy with whatever they say My DH passed away in June, and now if I want it, I just have to go get it. Not nearly as much fun as figuring out how to convince him I need it

Oh, I have kept the checkbook too for 29 years, but it helped get me off the fence on whether I really wanted it.
